Bear Mountain commands its ranking as the only PGA golf course in Canada with 36 holes of Nicklaus Design golf and home to the official Canadian training centre for Team Canada’s National Junior Squad. Adding more grandeur to the green, One Bear Mountain rises beside the majestic 18th green of the Mountain Course and features views of the first tees of both the Mountain and Valley Courses. A limited number of exclusive golf memberships will be included with select residences.
The Mountain Course
The rugged Mountain Course strikes the perfect balance between playability and a truly challenging year-round golf experience for golfers of all skill levels. Co-designed by Jack Nicklaus and his son Steve, the course is an absolute masterpiece, taking full advantage of its’ mountaintop setting with dramatic elevation changes and awe-inspiring views. It cemented its’ reputation as an exceptional, world-class course when it played host to the PGA Tour Champions for the Pacific Links Bear Mountain Championships in 2016 and 2017.
The Valley Course
Offering spectacular views of Vancouver Island’s beautiful landscape, the Valley Course weaves its’ way through forested outcroppings, borders lakes and traverses creeks. With elevated tee boxes, more generous fairway widths, fewer bunkers and larger greens, the Valley course is often considered a ‘friendlier’ golf experience.
